Peter’s quality of work is best summarised by the review of his clients:
“Peter’s knowledge of, and preparation for, this complex case was faultless. His regular briefings on how the case was proceeding were comprehensive and cogent. His readiness to clarify any questions we may have had, was both empathetic and professional. His role as a ‘mediator’ during negotiations about what [CLIENT] might accept as the father changed the conditions of the custody he was seeking, were again well-informed and wise as he sought the terms of a notional compromise with [CLIENT] while being supportive of her specific understanding, concerns and conditions.
Peter is a great listener, as concerned for the other people in the room as he was for [CLIENT]. Equally, because of the significant violence that characterises this case, he was only too ready to ensure all our safety at the beginning, throughout the day and after the hearing’s conclusion, to the point of escorting us to our car, parked some distance from the court, on both days. “
Outside of law Peter is an avid Volleyball fan and spends most of his time out on the court or beach. Peter is also a lover of animals, in fact a little-known fact about Peter is that he has four cats.
